A pleasant drive of 1.5 hours from Ōpōtiki takes you through the beautiful scenic coastal road to Oceanside Apartments on the beach in Waihau Bay. Considered by many to be the best beach on the coast, with 2 kilometres of a safe and sandy beach, ideal for swimming and kayaks (which we have available for hire).

Enjoy lovely sea views and magnificent sunsets from the large fully self contained Motel units with separate bedrooms, Queen beds, fully equipped kitchens, fridge/freezers, TV, Sky, DVD, Movies, BBQ and outdoor furniture. A fully equipped laundry is available on site. The well appointed units will sleep from 2 to 7 people very comfortably.

 A superbe cuisine of fresh fish and seafood meals all with home made breads and sauces, salads and vegetables fresh from the garden. Chartered fishing trips can be organised and jet boat trips for you can be arranged on the beautiful Motu River, Horse trekking on the beach or remote stations, historical walks, or a visit to the local Marae.
